It's evening
and I caress the grass in all the parks of your neighborhood - graves for what was never said. The moon is reflecting in my tears. The night is growing monsters on my skin. I open the journal, run my hand through the pages I smell them - only shopping lists. There, once we were only us when the moon swayed in the cradle on your chest.
